About Me

My name is Emily Sellers and I am an artist. I love to paint and create, and I was furthered into the creative world during my time at Alpharetta High School, which I graduated from in 2020. There, I partook in the acclaimed Fine Arts Program, my art was displayed in the Roswell Fine Arts Show, and additionally received a Fine Arts Seal. Alongside this I carefully forged connections and creative bonds with classmates, photographers, models, internationally renowned artists, and others in the creative world. The participants in our Fine Arts Program often painted together and because of these connections often did so outside of school as well. I was part of a group who furthered each others ideas through stimulating imagination and contributed to peers artwork with new ideas and suggestions.
In addition to this experience, in 2019 and 2020 I applied, was interviewed, and was accepted for an internship commissioned by The City of Alpharetta under Deanna Sirlin, a world renowned artist. During this we painted a mural in Wills Park, which I led, brightening the community space, as well as painted a portrait of a young boy that came in 8th out of 120 for the Atlanta Children’s Memorial Eternal Flame Project.
When the Covid virus hit in 2020, I graduated high school and had to change my plans of taking a gap year and traveling Europe. Instead, I moved to Germany to start my career in interior design with an internship with Justen Design. I quickly learned Palette CAD and TwinMotion, taking my creativity to a new space with 3D visualizations. Additionally, I learned the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop and helped the studio with graphic design, website design and logos. Since then I have moved back to Atlanta, Georgia, where I grew up, and have worked for Silo Studio Design for 3 years, all the while continuing to pursue my art career and paint commissions.
